Toby Wells Foundation Takes Active Step to Make a Difference in the Lives of Youth, Persons with Disabilities and Animals. The Toby Wells Foundation provided Fifty Thousand Dollars in grants to a variety of charitable causes within San Diego so far this year. Grants have been awarded to the following organizations: · Helen Woodward Animal Center (Therapeutic Riding Program-Scholarships for mentally & physically disabled children) $15,000 · Helen Woodward Animal Center (Adoptions Assist Fund) $2,500 · A.B. and Jessie Polinsky Children’s Center (PCC) (Children’s Trust Fund & Wish List) $10,000 · Child Abuse Prevention Foundation (Sponsor of Toby Wells Foundation College Scholarship Fund for Foster Children) $10,000 · Sharp Memorial Rehabilitation Center (Sports Program(s) Sponsorship for Disabled-Quad Rugby and Power Soccer) $5,000 · Paralyzed Veterans Association (Diamond Sponsor of Tony Mezzadri Surf Competition for Disabled) $5,000 · Sport Fishing Council (Support for Day at the Docks programs enabling underprivileged children to take part in rewarding activities) $2,500.
